The last several years I was in Japan, I knew that the time to leave was approaching and I took thousands (literally) of shots of every little thing. Whenever I travel, I come home and look through my photos, and I'm disappointed because they're all of the landmarks, vistas, etc. But what I really want to remember are the shops, the food, the funny signs, the quirky interactions and the like.
